Lights will guide you home

Somethings have an absolutely soothing effect on you. For me one of those things is definitely music. I am sure you would remember me ranting on and on about some track that would be stuck in my head for the longest while and I would find it undeniably important to mention it in a post. One of those days when Fix You by Coldplay was stuck in my head. And more than the rest of the song, lights will guide you home seemed to be resounding, more so because on many levels, that rings very true when you hear the rest of the song.
More importantly, this is the first OOTD of 2012 and its exciting to debut a lot of goodies I accumulated over my Christmas shopping, here. You will see elements of lace, sequins and cobalt blue. All of which were a rage in the festive season. (Yes, its easier to categorize seasons like that :D )
The pseudo-chignon was done for my by my friend and it lends a romantic feel to contrast the glam of the clutch.
