Of Lace and Booties

Sometimes, the joy of remixing and re-inventing is so huge, that a new outfit could also not possibly match that. This digital memoir is not about hitting the malls everyday and blindly aping the trend charts or the runway. Its about re-inventing, styling and creating new looks with a few big ideas. That does not imply that I do not shop or splurge on clothes or shoes. I just have constraints, like most of you and I would like to believe that I attempt at creating new looks with pieces I've worn before, throwing in a couple of new pieces here and there. You're entitled to disagree, of course. :)
This is what I wore to the Sony Ericsson event at the Taj where they unveiled the new collection of Xperia phones and it wouldn't be fair if I didn't tell you how stunning they really are. And since Sony Ericsson Xperia and I go back a long way (they sponsored my first giveaway) , I had to attend the event.

Wearing a tube LBD with lacey peter pan blouse in a nude shade. Adding color to it are the coral booties which I just can't get enough of and my pink, silver and other assorted hues bearing clutch.
Dress: Some boutique, Australia, Lacey peter pan blouse: Zara, Coral booties: Shoe boutique, Bangalore, Clutch: Forever New, Stack of bracelets: Colaba, Bombay and Forever New, Bangalore.
Last 5 days to enter the mega giveaway! Hurry up, ladies :)  Enter the giveaway, right here.

XOXO

What struck my fancy most about this attire were the shoes.LOVE LOVE LOVE them.=D.

But what is most important like you said was, incorporating passing 'fads' in YOUR style, and that is what you are a master of,and that is why I am such a huge fan of your blog.

  14. I love your boots. They are so chic yet conventional. I like the fashion statement that you are making and the bright contrasting colours and shades on you. You are a fashion blogger and do what you desire, something that I love in today's young women. I was surfing the net and came across this: http://bit.ly/J9RVh8. A young school going kid sings and follows her dreams unlike other kids her age who don't know what is in store for their future. Very Interesting!!
