Monochrome with a twist

Working on a monochrome post today holds special significance. At the DLF Promenade Bloggers Meet I happened to style a Monochrome look which won by the choice of Mr. Suneet Varma. After that feat, posting this seems to be of some significance. Besides, when I do a detailed post on that look, you will have more than just one idea on how to style yourself in the classy monochrome this season. Monochrome is not merely black and white. Of course, in a simple fashion, you could just keep it to the bare minimal too. But with influencers like the Wills India Fashion Week, 2013 I have been inspired to play around with textures and silhouettes to give a twist to Monochrome.
This look is one of my favourites in a really long while. Juxtaposing the sheen of the leather with the fluidity of the sheer shirt, bringing white and black together. With the pop of cobalt blue on the feet and the red on the lips. My favourite detail has to be the collar tips in antique silver from Youshine.
What do you think? :)

Wearing:
White sheer shirt: Forever New, Black leather skater skirt: ASOS, Cobalt blue pumps: Michael Antonio, Box Clutch: Colette Hayman, Collar Tips: C/O Youshine
