For the love of India Circus

After a sojourn in France and a short stop in Spain, coming back home was kind of hard. Not that I don't love home and coming back to all things Indian. I do. But a holiday full of old town charm mixed with the Parisian city life, sparkle and wine, petit dejeuner instead of breakfast and spanish sangria instead of water, is kind of hard to match up to. With my kitty full of these fun, colourful, contemporary pieces from India Circus, I decided to take a little picnic down to Lodhi Gardens. What better way to mix all things reminiscent of cobbled European pathways with quirky Indian elements than a picnic with French nicknacks served right in my India Circus. I have always been hugely impressed by the great quality of their fun, kitsch products and the fact that everything still manages to be pocket friendly. Unless you decide to ransack their entire website, I guess.
A sunny Delhi morning, a backdrop of every possible colour created by a bed of flowers, a damp green bed of grass and a basket full of cupcakes and croissants; definitely adds up to my picnic recipe.
Never a dull moment with my copy of The Silmarillion to give me company for some downtime.
